Overview & Aim of the Programmee
MSc in Health Toxicology is a brainchild programme of AMDI and National Poison Centre, USM started in 2010. It is a one of a kind programme to be offered in Malaysia so far.
This programme is designed to produce scientists competent in health toxicology field specifically in clinical, environmental and occupational toxicology. The students will also get to experience a hands-on research in our state-of-the-art research facility alongside with experts in this field

PEO1: To produce intellectual and professional Master graduates (Health Toxicology) who possess theoretical knowledge and practical experience required in the occupational and higher education related to health toxicology field.
PEO2: To produce Master graduates (Health Toxicology) who possess high ethical standards and responsible with good communication skills through dynamic curriculum and research project, that will assume a variety role in academia, industry and government.
PEO3: To produce Master graduates (Health Toxicology) who apply health toxicological knowledge for sustainable development and social well-being to suit the needs of the nation.

Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MSc in Health Toxicology program must have a BSc in related field, or an MBBS/MD or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
