The Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI), Universiti Sains Malaysia offers taught Master of Medicine (MMed) and Master of Science (MSc) programmes in niche medical and health related areas. The programmes are designed to train medical specialist and health care scientist that produce innovative discoveries towards sustainable and holistic healthcare deliveries. AMDI offers up-to-date MMEd and MSc programmes through our national and international research network and clinical partnership. AMDI thrives on its multidisciplinary environment and is the only medical postgraduate institute in Malaysia.
Registration is open for the October 2020 intake of our taught Master of Science programmes. All programmes are conducted over 1 year (2 semesters and during the long semester break) and carry 40 units. Medical Research, Health Toxicology and Transfusion Science programmes are 50% taught courses and 50% research. The Clinical Exercise Science programme consists of a short project and clinical attachment besides the taught modules.
